RIP Columbus  Investigation Report

Site: Glen Echo Park, Columbus

Note: This is a good example of how investigations sometimes don't  yield any decent evidence.

Date: November 10, 2005
Investigators:  Wes, Christi, Nellie
Equipment:
•    EMF Meter
•    Still camera, digital, standard color

•    Audio recorder, digital

Notable history:
Site is rumored to be haunted by the ghost of a homeless man who froze to death in the tunnel underneath the Indianola Ave. bridge, a young Goth woman near the flat bridge in the middle of the park, and a witch by the ten pins nears the railroad tracks.

Note on conditions:
Site is very noisy, with sounds of traffic, airplanes, trains, train whistles, a waterfall, and a creek.  Trying to capture evps over the background noise is problematic.  The site is also a local lovers’ lane, which can cause other challenges.  Temperature was 42 degrees with 62% humidity.

Significant Phenomena Observed on Investigation:

Time:               Observer/Phenomena:

7:00 pm           Strong emf readings occurred around the 4th Street entrance.  We attributed this to the power lines in the area.

8:10 pm           Christi was hit with an overwhelming sense of sadness at the table where the Goth ghost is rumored to hang out.  Bright orbs  show up in several pictures taken around this time, including during a playback of an evp attempt.  We are attributing those to atmospheric conditions.
